Still In Love

There was a time I think I was in love with you,
a time I wanted to always be by your side,
But come to think of it, I'm still in love,
not able to leave these feelings behind.

Our memories stay with me,
they'll stay with me forever,
do you ever think of us?
the times we had together?

It's already too late,
it always has been,
you don't want me,
we'll never be us again.

I'm able to see why though,
I'm not good enough, I'm just me,
I'd do anything to have you,
who you're with, is who I want to be.

You're the only one who never broke my heart,
not at all or any other way,
you're the only one,
I think about every single day.

It maybe just and infatuation,
but I've never felt this way before,
when I think of us never being together,
my heart becomes so very sore.

I know that how I feel,
doesn't really matter to you,
but every night I pray,
that someday you'd feel the same way too.

My heart has already died,
and I'm watching for above,
But I really want you to know,
that I am still in love.

*This poem was dedicate to a guy I kinda dated....I wrote it a long time ago and now I have the perfect boyfriend and I love him with everything I have...so I don't really feel this way about this other guy all this much....but its still a poem I wrote so I'm gonna put it up...lol...but yeah please vote and comment....it'd be nice to know what others think...thanks..love ya- ayna*
