The Sweetest Dream

I lie alone in bed
My heart it feels on fire
A tear rolls down my cheek
Your touch all i desire

Same old routine
Night after night
All i need is you
To make things alright

I wipe away the tears
And lie down in my bed
Thinking of your smile
Your always in my head

Then suddenly i look up
And all i see is you
You have Your arms around me
Its too good to be true

I take your arms from round me
Turn round and feel your kiss
I have never been so happy
All i ever wanted is this

I feel your lips upon mine
Love washes over like a see
Never thought i would b so lucky
To have u hear with me

The wind begins to change now
I'm so cold i begin to shake
I look right up into your eyes
Then all of a sudden I'm awake

All a dream i new it
Far to good to be true
Another tear falls down my cheek
But then what else is new

If i cannot have u here with me
If we cannot be together
Then i only have one wish tonight
That i can sleep forever

    Hey Alicia! There were a few things as far as spelling that you could have fixed but overall I thought it was a really great poem. I am kind of going through the same thing right now where I really want to be with someone but they don't want to be with me. It is a really tough situation to be in and even tougher to describe. I think you did a really good job of expressing yourself and making other people understand how you feel. I gave it a 5 and I'm adding you to my Favorites list. Keep up the good work!
