Daddy Come Back

Daddy won't you please come back
Mommy cries for you
I never got to say goodbye
And I don't know what to do

Give me a hug one last time
And I promise I'll try to let go
Why did you let go of me instead
Then walked out in the snow

Daddy, I miss you so much
And I don't know where you are
Every day I look for you
Out the window of our car

I never really got to say
That I'd miss you and I'd cry
But now its too late, you're already gone
I love you, and good bye.

**I never knew my dad. I was reading some poems and realized that I really do miss him. He walked out on my mom after getting her pregnant, and she says that he couldn't handle it. He's never even seen me. I hope that someday, I'll find him, and make up for so much lost time.
