Alone again

When you’re sad, depressed or lonely
Like most your try to hide away
Running from your fears and torment
I have no where to run
I have no one to take me on, be my light
The lights which guide my life are slowly fading
My isolated shadow fades in the darkness
I have but one light left, she I hope will direct me
The dark hole which has engulfed me
I’m sinking and only she can rescue me
Slowly I disappear, only my battered heart remains
Am I see through? Or is she just ignoring me?
Which ever way it hurts
I’m left to bleed on my own, holding on to nothing
My hand trembles as I try to grasp
But I feel nothing
My mind, my heart, my thoughts completely numbed
Throw me a rope, as I drown
This violent sea of pain which they call love
The loneliness I can take, but why does it have to burn?
I’m drowning and there’s nothing I can do
But to gasp for air and wait for a relief
Till then I’ll wait for her to throw a rope around my heart
And pull me in, out of the rain
I long for the warmth, knowing I’m wanted
Knowing I’m needed
For god sake give me a purpose, a reason to be
This won’t happen
Fore my last light, my chance of life
Is facing a different direction
All I can do is wait and try to get noticed
Waving, shouting, struggling to even exist
I’m alone
Alone again

a sad but great poem, that i feel i can relate to. just remember that lonliness is a feeling we all experience but there are always people to love and be there for us.
