Domestic Violence

by MistressMoonim   Oct 15, 2004

Intolerable Cruelty,
Unforgiveable Pain,
I’d have forgiven you it all,
If you’d have just stayed.

Bitter Tears,
Excruciating Hate,
You reduced me to this,
Can’t think what to say.

Sudden Violence,
Unexplainable Scars,
You say you can change,
But you are what you are.

Bruised Knuckles,
Hardened Walls,
Thrown against them
Screams fill the hall.

Muttered Apologies,
Wetted Eyelids,
You try to blame me,
For all that you did.

Domestic Violence,
What a terrible cliché.
You’d never understand,
That I live it day by day.

Supposed to be my Daddy,
Supposed to be my friend.
I guess the fact its over now,
Means that I don’t have to pretend

I hate you.
