Just Accept Me

by JuliAnn   Oct 16, 2004

YES I am Wiccan. I have been for a while. This was to my mom to help her understand me and stuff. She's very Christian. (i have nothing against Christians)

I am a different religion,
Can’t you see?
This is what I believe in,
This is me.
Yes I am Wiccan,
I know I’m a witch.
Why can’t you accept that?
It’s not like I have switched.
I am the same person.
Just like last year,
Maybe a few changes,
Here and there.
I am still shy to new people,
Wacky around the one’s I know.
I’m just Wiccan,
A different religion,
That I want you to accept me in.
These are my feelings,
For what I believe in.
What I think is true,
I still believe in some sort of god,
Just not the same as you.
I’m not like Harry Potter.
I don’t use a wand.
Tiny colored sparks don’t
come from my fingers,
Not from that show we once saw.
I believe in Gods and Goddesses.
That’s what I believe.
That’s what I see.
Now just accept me.
