Isn't funny
How a single flame can light the darkness
And just one wave can move the sea?
How a simple hello
Can bring someone back from the edge
And three little words can set the heart free?

Isn't funny
How a single note can spark a masterpiece
And through his heart but not his eyes
A blind man can learn to see?
A simple embrace can show just how much you care
Without even saying a word.
And how the strongest man
Can be brought to tears
When, for the first time, he holds his baby girl?

Isn't it funny
How your first kiss can send goosebumps down your spine?
And how you can't help but cry
When you see two people devote themselves
To each other till the end of time?
At times life seems so difficult,
Yet simple just the same.
We can always light the darkness,
For in every heart lies the flame.
