The Mute

by Jacki   Oct 17, 2004

Her mind drifter, hypnotized,
her eyes scattered and a blur
came to vision.
Panic set in.
A man standing in front of her
a doctor so it would seem.
But the doctor would
make all her dreams a nightmare,
and her nightmare a reality.
Pain in her stomach,
she franticly tried to escape.
Screaming and hollering for
anybody to help her.
The doctor just stole her baby.
He had ripped out her insides
the womb in which the child laid.
She was pregnant, feeling the
joy of motherhood.
But soon the doctor would come
and take it all away.
She didn't understand what
was going on, what the hell
did he do to me.
She gripped her stomach,
knowing she would never
have children again.
She screamed, falling to the floor.
Crying in pain, anger, and hatred.
She wanted to get even.
She ran around grabbing young
women telling them
"please don't go there,
he will kill your baby"
but nobody ever listened
and women came out crying.
She felt her voice would never
be heard no matter how much
she tried to speak.
She was just lost, a mute, in
a crowd of overjoyed individuals.
She finally went back in
to see doctor doom.
She grabbed him by the neck
and wouldn't let go until
his breathing stagers and he fell
nearly lifeless to the floor.
You killed my baby, you killed
a part of me, now its my turn
you ass hole to make you feel
the pain that you gave me.
She took out a knife and
cute a hole in his stomach
leaving him laying there.
letting him Die, an unbearable
pain.
But this could never make
him truly feel her pain.
If only she had listened to the
women ahead of her,
and if only the poor women behind
her would have listened to her
cries.
A mute amongst society
never heard, but always
feels the backlash and pain
that is given upon her.
