Watching Myself Die

by Sara   Oct 17, 2004

Sitting here, Watching your eyes
I can tell by the glisten that you have been crying.
And you were yelling, screaming at yourself.
I know you may have been standing
In front of your mirror
Crying, wishing to rip apart your insides.
Thinking of either taking that 30 foot jump or slicing that main vain in your wrist.
To take everything away.
You begin to wonder what exactly you are alive for,
What purpose your body serves to this unforesaken world.
Without questioning
you Thursted the knife into your wrist.
And watched all the crimson blood
Flow from your skin.
The darkness surrounds you.
You close your eyes,
Letting the pain overwhelm you.
Everyone asks how I knew so much
About what happened.
I know,
Because I am you.
