The Truth: Life and Death

by DMG   Oct 17, 2004

Tears running down life’s cheek.
Facing death, life is bleak.

Piercing screams, another tear.
Midnight strikes, another year.

Time is merely life till death.
Counting till the final breath.

Each second, one more heart beat,
One more moment closer to defeat.

Every minute, a tear of joy,
For the birth of another boy.

But each birth means one more dead.
Life created, after life fled.

What hurts more, loss or gain?
With loss comes peace, with gain comes pain.

Death begins, as life ends all.
Life is best at its last fall.

Time is life, time is hurt.
Death is peace in the dirt.

Connotation mixes definition,
As death is completion of life’s mission.

So what is good and what is bad?
What in truth is really sad?

Think a bit, then let me know.
Life is dying painfully slow.
