Doom

by Mac Attack1   Oct 18, 2004

Everyday these walls get smaller
Closing in as I get taller
This hall grows longer
As I grow older
I walk this path each day
With sights that never change
Doing a computers work
Neglecting rationality

Long the days and all day long
I long for carpe diem but
I carpe not the diem now
Nor shall when this long diem's out

"My blood takes all the blame for this"
I still will chant in the abyss
And when the pillars of my life collapse
My chant will suffer not a lapse
I am the type that doesn't bother
With things like striving for the better
I am the type most like my father
