I wish I had someone!

I wish I had someone
to help me hold my head high
someone to tell me not to worry
and to tell me not to cry.

I wish I had someone
to hug when its all I need
and to help me out in life
so I'm able to succeed.

I wish I had someone
to wipe away my tears
and take away all my pain
and uncover all my fears.

I wish I had someone
that I can talk to everyday
so they understand who I am
and know the right things to say.

I wish I had someone
to warm me when I'm cold
to tell me to be brave
and to show that I'm bold.

I wish I had someone
to tell me they really care
and to say they love me very much
and always will be there.

But most of all I wish I had someone
to call my very own
so I don't have to feel so worthless
being all alone.
