Infinite Change

by Eraklis   Oct 18, 2004

The demons calling from everywhere
Inside this tomb I sit and stare

Alone and shaken I fight this war
Afraid of what the future may store

My minds been bent my souls been torn
A life in change is what I've sworn

The past is lingering, haunting my present
Pulling me down in a slow descent

In a smokey room I sit and defend
A shattered world I try and mend

Could this be fate hunting me down
Or merly a chance to turn things around

With the strength from those who stand by my side
I must be strong I must not hide

For years will come and years will go
Friends will leave and friends will grow

Time will be the ultimate test
To leave things behind, put things to rest

With every sunset theres always a rise
Opening doors right before your eyes

Always remember that life is not set
Merly a table where you've placed the bet
