Longing

by My Obsεssion   Oct 18, 2004

Longing to see you again
To view your gentle face
Longing to hug you again
To feel your warm embrace

Longing for you to be here again
Because it’s been far too long
Longing for you to chase away my fears
And tell me my thinking was wrong

Longing to confide in you again
To pour my heart out to you
Longing to get to ask
If all the rumors I’ve heard are true

Longing for you to remember me
And that you think of me everyday
Longing to hear that you miss me
And that you need me in everyway

Longing for your presence to again
Shed light on my once bright life
Longing for you to bring an end to
This subconscious, never-ending strife

Longing for you to be here
To catch me when I fall
Longing for you to be here with me
But you are not here at all

Longing for you to return
And bring back my sense of belonging
Wishing these things will soon come true
But all I end up doing is longing

Wow is it really that horrible because so far I've gotten a vote of 1 and 4 on it? Just wondering because well I think I've only given like 1 poem a 1 before and it truly was horrible...not even a barely consistent form or anything and well I just wondered if that's what this deserved.
