Prepared for Today

O Lord you have prepared us for today
With the most holy Bread for which we pray
Prepared with the finest divine pure wheat
The living Bread of Life for us to eat

The Bread that is nourishing and forgiving
To prepare us for the life that we are living
To make us the Bread of Life for today
Feeding hearts, to make hunger go away

There is no bread more satisfying
To keep a starving soul from dying
The wheat ground until it is pure and white
Makes the Bread pleasing to the taste and sight

Forgive us lord, as we forgive others
Let us share the Bread with our brothers
