Rain

by Felicia Tursi   Oct 19, 2004

This rain is so sweet and great,
The rain that everyone seems to hate.
I love to see my enemies pain,
When nothing comes but the rain.
I watch as each little drop falls,
It drips and makes puddles in the halls.
The sadness and depression thats in each drop,
This little water that comes from up top.
They say when it rains its all the fears,
That are in God's every tear.
The rain to be caught in is romantic,
But as it falls everyone panics.
They go crazy as if they could melt,
As if they never even once have dealt.
With this water sinking to earth,
Thats graceful starting at every birth.
Your head lifts up as a drop falls on your face,
You start to walk at a slow pace.
Then you stop and ponder how,
The rain falls to hit the earth now.
Unexplainable things run through your head,
All the things you start to dread.
Then a tear falls down to the ground,
You take a long look around.
You see nothing you're all alone,
You say something in a certain tone.
You hear a call from a friend,
They call you in as you mend.
Now your away from the rain,
With no more of your pain.
