Condolences

by Stephen Levant   Oct 19, 2004

I can sense the tears welling up within your heart and soul. Do not be ashamed for tears of loss, but let them not be tears of sadness.

Did you not do all one can to show love and compassion? Did you not feed me when I was sick? You clothed me when cold. It was your face I saw day upon day as I lay in wait of the final visitor.

Now, the eternal inquisitor has come. Do not fret for me. I am now unfettered and free. Smell the flowers you have brought. Reflect on all which your presence has wrought. Appreciate each moment of life given you. I have your condolences.
