A brick through our window

by Mild insomnia   Oct 19, 2004

Ok. I over-reacted,
Maybe more than that,
But you can't really blame me for my actions,
If you'd been through what I had.

I bricked out window yesterday,
The one etched with our names,
I was in such outrage,
I didn't think, until it was too late.

The glass shivered and broke,
And scattered about the ground,
The memories flew from the window,
How could I let us down?
