I'm okay (in addition to chapter 2)

I'm ok

Things could be much worse,
Well thank god they're not,
I don't think that I could keep up.
If there's one thing I've learned,
It's to take what you've got,
Turn it into something useful.

It's not a death sentence,
I'll make it through all of this,
Here's my repentance,
I hope that you forgive.

I swear down, I'm ok,
I will survive,
There's so much to say,
And so little time.
The memories still haunt me,
But bruises fade,
So please don't worry,
I swear that I'm ok.

I admit it took a while,
To get back on my feet,
Now I'm dusting off my knees.
Returning from exile,
And I'm glad to be,
Cos I'm sure that you missed me.

You knew I get back up,
If you ever pushed me down,
So it's just tough luck,
When I come around.

I swear down, I'm ok,
I will survive,
There's so much to say,
And so little time.
The memories still haunt me,
But bruises fade,
So please don't worry,
I swear that I'm ok.
