Am I supposed to care that you are back
You left when I needed you the most
We went from being the best of friends
And then you became a distant ghost

Someone who used to be there for me
I remember it was you who caught my tears
But then without warning you ran away
And left me alone to face all of my fears

I should have known I could not trust you
You acted just like the others did before
Maybe I dragged you down all the time
Or you just found my depression to be a bore

I know I do not have the right to be mad
You were always a better friend than me
But you had the really happy nice world
When I lived in the dark and could not see

I guess you think I am being ungrateful
For all the times you took my pain away
But I feel like you abandoned my feelings
When you decided that you could not stay
