She longs

by Marcie   Oct 20, 2004

No one understands her worry
her anxiety is pain
She wants to be accepted
and maybe loved again.

Her life is moving to fast
chances roll on by
and sometimes her lifes just to slow
oh, how she longs to fly

She longs to fly
She longs to live
She longs to feel
She longs to give

She walks down the halls
with her perfect friends
and everyone notices
shes the imperfect one on the end.

People make jokes
some seniors laugh or stare
at the girl in converse shoes
and the strawberry blonde hair

People just cant notice
the pain in her blue eyes
or her heart thats full of love
thats shes wanting someone to find

Everyday she walks
down the crowded hall
yet she feels all alone
and she feels so small

She longs for real friends
She longs to be liked
She longs for real love
She longs for her roads to be hiked

She walks down the halls
with her perfect friends
some seniors laugh or stare
at the girl in converse shoes
and the strawberry blonde hair
