Him and I

What is this feeling I never felt before?
For I only meet him two weeks ago,
We had our fun,
We had our laughs,
There were those times I just wanted to kick his ass.
I forgave him though and put it in the past.

Our relationship never seemed to mend,
It seems as the love just withered away,
And that’s what lead to the end.

I don’t care what you think or say,
I will always have time to care about him,
Just because were not going out doesn’t mean I hate him,
Just because he hurt me a couple of times or did something I wish he didn’t,
Doesn’t mean I ever regretted being with him

I don’t like hearing about how he might be hurting himself,
I wish he’d move on and find someone else.
For I know he can move on and find someone better.
I think he has good qualities to become a good father.

I hope if he reads this or hears about this he fully understands,
I really did love him,
He did make me smile,
He did make me laugh,
But he hurt my feelings,
I felt stabbed in the back,
I wish him well,
I wish him happiness,
And I wish him luck in finding someone else.
