I remember we would sit and color
With every year you got slower
Yet you still sat on the floor and played with me
Setting me up on your knee
You said "I love you" and I said it too
You made me laugh when I was blue
Now I'm like you in every way
And I still miss you everyday
When daddy told me "honey, granddad died"
At your funernal I remember how I cried
How I walked away from your casket
Unable to say goodbye
This is for my grandfather who died four years ago. I miss you so much and I love you.
