In A Moment

These are the moments that matter,
When you’re down and almost out.
This is when heroes are made
And you discover what life is all about.
There’s a strength that stirs inside you
And drives you to succeed.
A love that grows within you,
That’s made for the one
With whom you’re supposed to be.
At times life seems to have no purpose
And the sun abandons the sky.
The things you once relied on fail you,
Leaving you wondering why?
These are the moments
When you must carry on.
Endure the rain and
By yourself, stand strong.
You’re not only living your life for you,
But for your destined love as well.
For your children and grandchildren
To who these stories you will tell.
When your life comes to an end
And all these moments flash before your eyes,
I hope you have no regrets
And you’re happy with the memory you left behind.
So remember the moments that matter
For they determine the soul that is saved.
