This World

by Cora Barnes   Oct 21, 2004

As I sit and view the world over in my mind,
I wonder what it has come to.
Why are we like this, and not like that?
Picking and nagging at every loose thread of
Poverty
War
Depression
Never seeming to be able to fix any of them.
And when I look upon the one who should be able to tuck those loose threads away,
I realize he is the creator of such disaster.
