The Call

by Stephen Levant   Oct 22, 2004

She called me as siren song in the night. That music clutched at me causing images, yea some dark dreams, to dance before my sight. I fancied myself innocent, but she removed that notion along with my might. All that one set out to do suddenly found itself wiped out. I could not stay away.

As a child, I often thought I heard someone call my voice. Had I known it was you...I would, of necessity, have answered the call earlier.

Your voice was obeyed in the Garden;we were cast out. I've given when you have need though your actions have cast doubt. the many times I've not acted has given you license. My acting has done the same. In life, between us is a continued game and...I have answered the call.
