I am in the army now

As I am sitting here in the cold
all so lonely
No one to company me
But all the dead bodies

As i start to write to my wife saying

Dearly belove th
I love you so much
But Some people are stupid
and make you do dumb things
I am afraid
I will not be coming Home

I am all alone
In the deep part of the woods
watching people kill one another

This is far
Worse then war
This is suicide

I just thought
If I do die
I want you
To get this one last piece
of my love
I am sorry that
I didn't listen
When I should of
But I wanted to be an army boy

I just wanted you to be proud
not frown
I thought this was a game
But I am wrong
This is just a pain
So please bare with me
and be strong

I dont want to go
But I may have to
I just want you
To know that I love you

Just as your husband finished

he was shot

His heart

    Wow i really love this poem..and i love how it was from your heart and when its from your heart it doesn't matter how you write it...i lost my boyfriend in the war in iraq..he sent me a letter the day before sayin how he had a feeling he wasn't goin to make it back..and the three days later his family recieved a notice that he was killed in a car bomb...i was devestated..so this poem really means a whole lot, and should make ppl double think about goin to war esp. if they are goin to be leaving loved ones behind..cuz being alive and never in the army is better then being in the army and dead...cuz no one feels more pain then your loved ones...

    Wow super good... I'm gettin ready to go in to the marines and wow this poem was I dunno it got me thinkin about how much I love my wife and how goin into the war is gonna be crazy! keep up the good work!

    ya the spelling does need to be fixed but I have not go to that yet
