Created in the image and likeness of God, so we all are willed the best
Incarnated with worldly flesh we toil until it is time for us to rest
But the world is not our permanent home we’re only a temporary guest
On our journey toward heaven, peace on earth should be our most holy quest.

But it seems to me peace of mind
For most of us is hard to find
Individual happiness is necessary for the peace of mankind
Unity with our God is necessary for the ties that will bind

It is the word of God that we have to use
To know and decide whose will is whose
Most won’t get what is willed to us, only what we chose
Unfortunately most don’t know what we have to lose

    I always love a good poem in regards to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

    Through Jesus we shall be saved, through the Holy Trinity we shall grow, through lack of courage, love, and faith we are doomed.

    I love how you talk about our inheritance being our choice.. how it is that we choose and how most of us do not realize how much we have to lose.

    Your poems speak so much truth and volume. This particular one leaves a peresons soul yearning for more and a desire to reach out and claim what God has promised them through His word.

    Thank you once again for bringing such pleasures and honesty to the reader.
