Lord Please

Lord why are you taking her away
I just don’t understand
I never got to hold her hand
As more then a friend
I always told her I would be there till the very end
But it was not suppose to come so soon
She was not ready to reach her final doom

I never got to kiss her, not even once
I never got the chance to feel her loving touch
God shes not even gone yet and I miss her so much

We never got to show our love for each other
Even though it was there
I never got to tell her I cared
And right now I cant help but think of the memories we have shared

We never got to be together
We never got the chance to think about forever
Lord this is not fair
I will take my own like to see her again, do I dare?
I mean who would care?

She was the only one I had left
And now I have to see her take her very last breath
Lord I know you love her a lot
But so do I, more then she will ever know and shes all I got

So if your gonna take her
Your gonna have to take me too
Because without her
I would not know what to do

To be with her again I would walk to heavens gates
I just hope I am not to late
Please when I get there let me come in
Please forgive me for all my sins

Let me hold her hand
And tell her I love her and let me kiss her for the first time
Please just let her be mine

Please help me understand
Why you have to take her away from me
And why me and her never got to be

Lord please I am begging you to let her stay
I promise if you do I will treat her right
And I promise I\'ll tell her I love her each and every night
So what do you say?
Could you maybe give me one more day?

Even though that would never be enough
Lord please don’t take her away I love her so much

Can you please answer my prayer?
Can you please show me that you really care?
Can you please prove to me your really there?
