Never allowing us a moment to stop and ponder
All the things that we have done.
The drama builds
And our eyes overflow.
Always trying to rise above.
Always trying to let go.
So many sleepless nights
When I've lied awake and prayed
For all of you and
For the pain I can't take away.
This is only the beginning.
There's still so much more to come.
But I know that we're strong enough to handle the damage
That will eventually be done.
