Too Late

by Mishel   Oct 23, 2004

I sit here on the floor
My tears mixing with my blood
I pick up the phone
And dial your number once again
I am not calling again
It is the fifth time
Your answer machine comes on
Silence...
Then I say "It is me"
And I get cut off by the beep
That is it!
I am not waiting anymore
I pick up the already bloody razor blade
And put it up to my throat
I close my eyes and get ready to do it
I open my eyes and you're at the door
Your sad eyes are filled with tears
And you are out of breath from running
I say "I am sorry"
And I see you jump to the floor
You almost reach me
But...it is too late
I fall backwards as everything turns black
You just came a little too late
That is all
