Through Darkness

by FTS Miles   Oct 24, 2004

Though clouds dirge black
and talons rake the green to frosty white;
though ancient sun swells red and
blossom tendrils into void;
though the spirits of the lost
legion and moan till heard,
I will walk with you
unending, with many Eyes
watching as One despite the various
hands, legs, blistering journeyed feet
that mark my passage mortal.
Though all Gods clash in
final wrathful assurance to atheism
and the world suffers its sluggish demise,
I shall will myself immortal
but to be with you.

    Yes, but only if the recipient soul is truly worthy of such passionate dedication. ;)
