To the story I'm about to tell
Listen closely all of you
To the words that i speak

The other day i was sitting alone
Crying for a girl all of you know
Standing there all on my own
Looking at the scars she showed

She told me she was lost
She said she was scared
Because she knew what was going to cost
When everyone found out what she just shared

The scars were all over her arm
And i cried so hard for her
She couldn't remember bringing on this much harm
And i knew she was scared for sure

Now listen up to what I'm about to say
Listen closely
Because I'm going to tell you anyway

I looked up from crying
And i stared into the mirror
Now this whole time i haven't been lying
And in my eyes you'll see a tear

Now look at that girl
Look don't you see
The girl i told you about
that girl is me
