and help me after every hit

its because your easy
easy to talk to
because you listen
and ask questions too

its because you don't take sides
because you make me laugh
because you don't envy
what other people have

its because you call me a babe
to the guy I'm digging
its because you call me during hard times
and when I'm just kicking

its because you talk to me
the way you treat my friends
its because you wear my sweatshirt
the way you make me laugh on end

because your my new found friend
because you gave me faith in men
just to clarify we'll only ever be friends
so Julie doesn't have a reason to kick my rear end
