Last night I went to a party
It was so much fun
I sang and hung out
and danced with everyone
but one in particular
caught my eye
and after just one dance
I had fallen for this guy
We sat and talked for hours
as if each other we'd known all along
and then we got up
and danced again to my favorite song
and as we moved
with the words we sang along
he smiled
and looked me in the eye
he said I was beautiful
and I hoped he didn't lie
he asked me for my number
and I started to grin
and of course
I gave it to him
he was just to perfect
