Death is a fact of life
It is said it is not an end
But rather a portal to a new beginning
The ultimate price one must pay
For a new start
I have heard several say
No one should have walked away that day
That there should have been no remnants of life
Amongst that twisted pile of metal
I like to think
It was God’s way of giving us all
That portal to a new beginning
Without having to pay the ultimate price
