I pray...

by SammiBABY   Oct 25, 2004

I wish that things were not like this,
that God was not so cruel.
He destroyed a family for no reason
and tore apart a school.
I wish that life would not be so hard
that God would treat us right.
Instead of killing innocent people
He could end every single fight.

Why did God create people
to treat them in this way?
The faith that a God exists
is beginning to slip away

A little girl’s in hospital,
She’s in a coma and might die,
But god doesn’t think about
all the people he made cry.
He’s letting a girl drift away
to the heavens way above,
When we want her here
with the people that she loves.

We can’t lose this little girl
She deserves to live her life,
The ones who deserve to die
are the ones who cause others strife.

I want this little girl to live,
I want her pain to heal.
I want her to smile again,
I pray for you, Teneale.

**Teneale died one day after I wrote this poem (she died on Oct 22nd). Please comment and vote because this poem is very honest and I’d really love for this poem to become a top rated poem Thank you **
