Afraid

Why do i have to be scared
i used to never be afraid
now everything scares me
I'm afraid of taking risks
not knowing the outcome
I'm afraid to go to sleep at night
not knowing if ill wake up
I'm afraid
to wake up in the morning
not knowing how
the days going to go
I'm afraid to step out of my house
not knowing whats going
to happen next
I'm afraid of going to school
not knowing what there gonna say
about me today
I'm afraid to be myself
not knowing who will be offended
I'm afraid not to care
not knowing what really matters
I'm afraid of life
not knowing when ill die
I'm afraid of taking risks
*but wouldn't that mean I'm always afraid? isn't that what life is, just one big risk?*
