Ravenbourne

by Bryce Ellner   Oct 26, 2004

A blood-line older than the ages
A secret as old as time
Our story will fill the pages
Immortalized in forgotten rhyme.
Three of Darkness, Three of Blood
Six of us in all.
And only when we're far apart
Will this murder ever fall.
Wings of black and eyes of gray
Yet in the moonlight seem to glow
Now silver wings doth fill the sky
And eyes shine bright as gold.
Our fates are intertwined
Born to live and never die
With ashes to ashes comes fire then dust
We tread the path the raven flies.

One last phrase I utter now
Before my will be done:
"Tell us not a simple lie
Or beware the Raven's peircing eyes"

i like this poem very much- a bit worry, that you don't rhyme it to through to the end, but nevertheless great

can you tell me which mmorpg you play?

Heh, Well heres a little background on it then. Two other friends and I play an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) and in it, we play as the "Ravenbourne" Family. I was bored one day so I created a background legend for our little family and in turn I wrote this poem as a bard-like tale. You would have to read the story of the game and the story I wrote to get the poem, but its pretty cool. If you want to see the stories, you can email me, but if not, just think of this poem as a long forgotten legend.
