The Boy Who Cried....

by Kevin   Oct 27, 2004

There are things
variables I should cry about
past events
that needs a shout
spiritually speaking

yet I falter in action
or perhaps true emotions
I only ever taste my sorrow
force a tear
go through the motions

it's all deep down though
I can feel it in distraction
as I walk or watch
or sometimes think
a familiar tang of well known pain
tugs my heart
just beyond the brink

I actually think this poem is complete. For whatever he went through when he wrote it, it is very well done.

You know Mr Plain...giving me a 5 just because of the word falter, and then stating as such is quite insulting to me..like the poem itself had no merit in your mind apart from that word.

Yeah it is a little bare, but when one is talking about hidden emotions and the need to suppress them...it kinda fits with the subject matter don't you think?

For me, the poem definetely was about feeling insecure and depressed about the persons self, it made me feel sad. Good poem
