Funeral

by tormented   Oct 27, 2004

Now they lay me,
in a forever sleep,
roses cover my UN-shooed feet,
The preacher says a prayer,
as they put me away,
My mom dabs her eyes,
as she hides,
behind a blackened veil,
Who would of thought i had so many friends,
I never knew i had someone who cared,
that's why i did it,
now i realize i died for nothing,
its too late to go back,
too late to give my life anther try,
I'm forever damned to this earth,
So now they lay me,
in a forever sleep,
i pray to my god, please,
don't leave me.
