Sitting idly by

by BlackRose   Oct 27, 2004

Now this life begins anew
and left are the few
who can commit
to sit

idly by
while others die

deaths so monotonous
that they stand by
and watch without a fuss
as they cry

and bleed
as they feed
their souls to anyone
who cares

You definetely have a disjointed way of writing, and I mean that in a good way. the rhyming just gives it that little edge that most poets aren't able to make. Well done.
