Silver Sorrow

by Nicole   Oct 28, 2004

Silver snow
falling like the frozen tears
of a thousand angels
Mourning the loss of worldly innocence
Each tear
cried for
the corruption inflicted
by the people we trust
Each frozen tear
unique..
but not alone
for the angels cry not in solitude
Lose hope?
Lose faith?
Lose sanity among all of this rage?
Silver tears
all too familiar
on the cheeks of the ones we love
each tear..dedicated to
fathers, sisters brothers and mothers
frozen in a time of crisis
only to thaw when this is all over
Maybe this coldness will melt some day
Until then....
Each tear falls...
but not alone
Never alone.
