Goldfish

As we swim, never stopping,
Death is forever looming, and,
We see the big ones, out pets,
They tap on the water, and some of us,
Flee, others stay. As we retreat,
We hit an edge, where the water ends,
And where we can't go, the truth begins to show.
Fear fills our hearts, we are trapped.
For eternity, in a see-through sea, we are trapped.
But our minds empty. We meet those who are our brothers,
Yet we never knew them,
Three seconds, no more. The cycle begins again.

* I'd just like to say that you should all consider your pets more carefully, especially fish. How would you like to be trapped in a see-through sea? (Sorta like the one in my poem, maybe?) *

That's the best poem ever...Maybe a cat falling from a 100 storey building would be good
