She Would Never Know

by Czekalski   Oct 28, 2004

Behind the closed door,
She kept a dark secret.
Underneath her breath,
She cursed God’s name.
In her hand she held a razor,
Wanting to end her life.
Along her wrist she ran it,
trying to find some strength.
With fear in her heart,
She knew she cocouldn't do this.
In her room she kept this secret;
No one knew how she really felt.
Among her friends,
She was someone else, but...
After tonight she would never know,
What the rest of her life had in store for her.
With tears in her eyes,
She took her own life.
