Stuck In The Middle.

by Emzie   Oct 28, 2004

I'm caught in the middle,
What do I do?
I don't want to hurt either of you.

I wish I knew,
Exactly why,
My Daddy had to say goodbye.

I was too young,
To even know,
The unanswered questions inside me grow.

I feel like you,
Are making me choose,
Can't you see; I love both of you.

You hate each other,
You don't talk at all,
And me, well, I am the wall.

Stuck in the middle,
With no clue,
What am I supposed to do?

Why can't you just be,
Be together in this life,
You've never ever told me why.

All that Dad said was that,
He wanted to let me and mum,
Live in this big house on our own.

Mum, you never gave me a reason,
Why was it that,
You left each other and that was that?

Why can't you be togther,
Like other parents are,
'Cause deep down inside, it's left a scar.

I think I can only wish,
For you to be,
Be together finally.

Because I know,
Deep down inside,
Each of you would rather die.
