My Golden Sun

by МÅťťђĕш Яĕĩŋĕßĕřg   Oct 28, 2004

Golden rays sustain my life,
The sun shines on my strife,
All my qualms are snow and quickly melt.
In the eve the sun will set,
Still my love, I won’t forget,
Still your loving rays by me are felt.

As I gaze into the night,
My soul is smiling with delight,
For I know the sun will swiftly rise.
Radiant are her golden tresses,
My face each silk strand caresses,
Light floods in and opens up my eyes.

As I see her golden hair,
I have not a single care,
For I know she’s safe and sound with me.
I see the beauty in her face,
My heart pounds, my mind doth race,
Her beauty is too much for me to see.

When the sun begins to show,
To her love I must then go,
Or dare I even try to stay away.
Her hair, her eyes, her graceful mind,
Her heart, my heart the two will bind,
I see these now and thus will always stay.

I thought this was really beautiful, I would love it if someone wrote a piece like that for me. Gorgeous piece. :)

This is okay mate, a little cliche, and the structure was irratic me thought...but not bad at all.

I'd suggest you read it out loud to yourself a few times and see how it flows...and then maybe re-edit the words....chopping some...and moving some to other lines to improve the movement.
