Teaching

With a wonderful voice I’ll sing to thee
Hoping every word is heard.
Knowing every thought that I sing to thee
Will be melody to your ears not just words.
Flowing vibrantly through your mind and
Passionately resting on your soul.
Touching every inch of your skin in due time.
Making your body feel whole.
None of this you know the meaning to,
But this is what I hope for as I sing to you.
Praying you’ll grow up with memories true.
Not just of a mother who only loved you.
But, of a mother who taught you things
Others won’t speak, but they knew.
Not afraid of what anyone would say or do.
A mother who speaks her mind,
And let you know it was okay to.
So with a wonderful voice I’ll sing to thee
Hoping every word is heard.
And the things that I sing will teach thee
So listen closely to every word.
For none of this you know the meaning to,
You are a child of mine.
But this is what I hope for as I sing to you,
You’ll know every word and every meaning in due time.

A man should first direct himself in the way he should go. Only then should he instruct others - Budda said that. Good write. Keep it up Bud
