Real

by Heather M Craig   Oct 31, 2004

To all that have judged gays:

Maybe it is a sickness,
it may also be immoral,
or it could even be wrong
to the rest of you people
but you don't know what goes on
inside of each of our heads
but you judge us anyways
calling us nasty fags and lez's
and it wounds the heart permanently
as the tears just pour,
I don't understand how you can put
us down,
you've never been in our shoes before.
We are like the rest of you,
we fall in love, we break apart,
we go through ups and downs,
and we know broken hearts.
You are not God
so don't tell me I'll go to hell,
you don't know my outcome,
and I don't know it as well.
You can say what you want
but you don't know how I feel,
I'm trying to get my message out,
my feelings are real.
