Pressure...

by SplitSided   Oct 31, 2004

He sits in the dark alone.
Sitting there all alone.
A girl in the back of his mind.
He sits there for a long time.
Thinking of the beauty of her.
Time goes by so fast it's all a blur.
Holding a present that was given to him long ago.
What he does with it, he doesn't know.
He just lets it go.
It drops to the floor.
Shatters and breaks.
And slowly he tapes.
Tapes it all together.
Hoping it will stay like this forever.
The tape rips.
And his life trips.
Falling into nothing.
reaching for nothing.
Just hoping to and it all.
On this pointless fall.
In this life of his there's no pleasure.
There's only pressure...
